THE BIG PSTN TELEPHONE SWITCH-OFF IN 2025

By the end of 2025, the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) and ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) will be switched off, meaning that traditional "BT" style telephones and telephone systems connected to these services will no longer work.

There are alternatives such as VOIP (Voice Over IP) phone systems which can be migrated to right now, in most cases, retaining your existing telephone numbers.  Other systems such as RedCare, lift emergency call buttons, gate and door entry systems and any other telephone connected system may require alternative solutions to enable them to work.

Often easily overlooked is ensuring your networks and Internet connection is ready for the new technology; we offer a quick on-site network audit which will check to ensure you have all of the right connections and capacity. Even if you don't upgrade anything just yet, you'll know if your networks are ready and have a "shopping list" for any that are not.

Here at 22 Computing, we have been installing VOIP phone solutions from many manufactures including Yealink, Mitel, Zoom and more and are experienced in providing installation, support and real advice on any of the upcoming changes and what you need to plan for.

WHATEVER PHONE SYSTEM YOU HAVE, EVEN IF IT'S JUST ONE PHONE, WE'D LOVE TO HELP

WE MAKE A DONATION FOR EVERY NEW CUSTOMER

One in three born in the UK today will develop dementia. Dementia is the UK's biggest health and social care crisis.

For every new customer, 22 Computing will make a donation to The Alzheimer's Society to help fund vital support and life-changing research to give help and hope to someone living with dementia.
